The 2025 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon demonstrated a commitment to best-in-class workplace practices. The list is based on surveys sent to employees of the participating nonprofits, who provided feedback on several aspects of workplace quality. Scores are out of a total of 700. Employees rate their satisfaction with five features of the workplace: work environment; management and communications; mission and goals; career development and learning; and benefits and compensation. Some of the organizations on this list are repeat honorees; others are appearing on the list for the first time. This year Oregon nonprofits face a challenging funding landscape and an uncertain economic outlook, underscoring both the difficulty and the importance of recruiting and retaining great staff. The organizations listed on the following pages have demonstrated a commitment to keeping staff morale high no matter what, and making sure staff are well cared for as they care for their communities.
